With language comprehension challenges,.....(huh?!)

 .....visual cues have become increasingly critical

 

Menus with pictures make us especially happy!

Signs with images - when clear - are also much appreciated...

But unfortunately, not all make it entirely clear. 

While it's clear not to sit here unless you are in a wheelchair, deaf or blind,  that 4th image leaves a bit to interpretation 

Saving seats for people with split personalities?  Actors? Those doing jazz hands?  

And this one, I can't even begin to speculate....

But thanks to the Euro Cup coming to town in June (and the city's desire to look like a dignified European city), things are evolving - English signs are even popping up!

So here's 3 cheers for pictures & the Latin alphabet!
